Robert Daniel Johnson

Robert Daniel Johnson, 77, of Clanton, Alabama passed away June 10, 2025, at St. Vincent's Birmingham, AL.

He was born July 14, 1947, in Alabama, son of the late Bennie Johnson and the late Elizabeth Cleckler.

He was a Carpenter. Our dad is forever loved, and will be deeply missed. He was a man of strength, love, and unwavering faith. A husband, father, friend, and a guiding light. He finished his race with grace and honor. Though we grieve his passing, we rejoice knowing he is home, safe in the arms of our Savior.In the words of our dad:; "there is only God, Family, and Friends."Until we meet again in Heaven!

Surviving are his Wife, Frances (Tiny) S. Johnson; Sons, James (Jimbo) (Sherry) Busby, Rodney (RJ) (Shawna) Johnson; Daughter, Crystal (Carson) Fox; Grandsons, Aaron Busby, Christopher Busby; Granddaughters, Brady Busby, Julie (Juliebug) Johnson, Jessica (Jessibug) Johnson; 3 Great Grandchildren; Special Nieces, Rose  Jones, Betty Sue McCary; Sisters, Faye (Bill) Edwards, Betty Sue (Fred) Simmons; Brothers, John Wayne (Linda) Cleckler, Doug (Deb) Cleckler, Ralph Edwards.

He was preceded in death by his Father, Bennie A. Johnson; Mother, Elizabeth Cleckler; Step-Father, Clifton Cleckler; Brothers, Randall Cleckler, Jimmy Cleckler; Sister, Alice Smitherman.

Friends will be received Friday, June 13, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Old Macedonia Baptist Church.

Services will be held Friday, June 13, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at Old Macedonia Baptist Church with Rev. Edward Wilson officiating.

Interment will follow in Old Macedonia Baptist Cemetery, Clanton, Alabama.
