Robert Jack Mizzell, Sr., 91, of Jemison died Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at 7495 Co. Rd. 43, Jemison. He was born on Tuesday, October 20, 1925 in Perry Co., AL, Son of the late Chester A. Mizzell and the late Annie Lee Swindle Mizzell. He was a Truck Driver. Surviving are Sons, Chester E. Mizzell, Robert Jack Mizzell, Jr. (Telitha); Daughter, Peggy Mizzell Rhodes (Ricky); Brother, Joe Bob Mizzell; Grandchildren, Corey Mizzell, Charles Williams, Billy Ray Williams, Michael Mizzell, Anna Simpson, David Mizzell, Remington Rhodes; A host of great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; Special Friend, Peggy Hattier. He was preceded in death by his Wife, Mary Louise Mizzell; Daughter, Mary Frances Fortenberry; Daughter-in-Law, Sherian Mizzell. Friends will be received from 5-7, Thursday, June 22, 2017 at Martin Funeral Home. Services will be held Friday, June 23, 2017, at 1:00 p.m. at Martin Chapel with Rev. J. B. Mizzell officiating.
