He was born on Tuesday, October 16, 1928 in Chilton County, Son of the late Alex Houston Tillery and the late Eva Cochran Tillery. He was a retired Store Owner. Surviving are 3 Daughters, Sandy (Bill) Pearce of Maplesville, AL, Rita Townsend of Centreville, AL, Judy Sherrer of Montgomery, AL; 7 Grandchildren, A host of Great Grandchildren; 2 Sisters, Betty Pate of Jemison, AL & Ruth McAfee of Randolph, AL. Friends will be received from 10-11 am, Friday, September 27, 2013 at Union Springs Baptist Church. Services will be held Friday, September 27, 2013, at 11:00 am. at Union Springs Baptist Church, Randolph, AL with Rev. Brandon Morris officiating. Interment will follow in Union Springs Bapt.
