Robert Colenza Yeargan

Robert Colenza YEARGAN, 83, of Clanton died Friday, November 6, 2009 at his residence. He was born on Saturday, June 12, 1926 in Anniston, Alabama, Son of the late Eddie Ray Yeargan and the late Gertrude Clark Yeargan. Mr. Yeargan retired from the Navy following 20 years of service to his country. He then went on to retire from the Chilton County Road Department after 20 years of service. Surviving are Brother, Mr. William C. Yeargan of Birmingham, AL; Sister-in-Law, Mrs. Nancy Beam Parsons of Clanton, AL; 3 Step Sons, Mr. Ronnie Sammons, Mr. Roger Sammons, Mr. Scotty Sammons , 9 Nieces, 3 Nephews. He was preceded in death by: Mrs. Virginia Sammons Yeargan, Wife. Services will be held Tuesday, November 10, 2009, at 11:00am. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Greg Nobles officiating. The family will recieve friends one hour prior to the services on Tuesday. Interment will follow in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Jemison.
