Roddy Lowery, 84, of Maplesville, Alabama passed away December 3, 2019 at Shelby Baptist. He was born September 5, 1935 son of Marvin Lowery and Pauline Lowery. He was a Machinist & Cabinet Maker . Surviving are his Wife, Bettye Lowery, Daughter, Bettye Miriam (Michael Riggs ) Ratliff, Daughter, Julie Hannah (Phillip) Chapman, Grandson, Roddy Aaron Ratliff, Grandson, Michael Davis Ratliff, Grandson, Chanley Luin Ratliff, Granddaughter, Britney (Stephen) Shaw, Grandson , Brandon Wade Chapman, Sister , Vera Olivia Blackwood. He was preceded in death by, Parents, Marvin and Pauline Lowery, Grandson, Morgan Riggs Ratliff, Brother in Law, James Newton Blackwood. Friends will be received Thursday, December 5, 2019 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Liberty Hill Baptist. Services will be held December 6, 2019, at 11:00 am. at Liberty Hill Baptist with Rev. Kent Dodson officiating. Interment will follow in Liberty Hill Baptist Cem., Clanton, Alabama . Martin Funeral Home directing.
