Ronald Lee Mims

Ronald Lee Mims, 78, of Clanton, Alabama passed away peacefully June 23, 2026, at his residence in Clanton, AL, surrounded by his family.

He was born March 7, 1948, in Alabama, son of the late Tommie Mims and the late Hazel Mims.

He was a Meter reader for Alabama Power.

Surviving are his Brothers, Tommie "Jackie" (Gwyn) Mims, Jimmie W. (Joyce) Mims; Nieces, Stephanie Mims, Wendy Mims, Diane Mims Knight; Nephews, Don Mims, Shane Mims.

He was preceded in death by his Wife, Sandra Mims; Father, Tommie J. Mims, Sr.; Mother, Hazel Mims; Twin Brother, Donald "Duck" Mims; Sisters, Lorene, Helen, Eunice, Mary Faye, Lola Mae and Betty Sue; Nephew, Chad Mims.

Friends will be received Thursday, June 25, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Services will be held Thursday, June 25, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Martin Funeal Home Chapel with Rev. Robbie Peters officiating.

Interment will follow in Martin Memorial Cemetery, Clanton, Alabama.
