Ronnie Joe Smith, 73, of Jemison, Alabama passed away May 19, 2023, at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
He was born June 11, 1949, in Jemison, Alabama, son of the late Orville Smith and the late Kate Rasberry Smith.
He retired from Bellsouth, where he worked as a Cable Tech.
Surviving are his Loving Wife of 56 years, Dianne Smith; Daughter, Karla (Doug) Esco; Son, Jason (Sandy) Smith; Grandchildren, Wesley (Barri Elizabeth) Jones, Brantley Smith, Brazier Smith and Isabella Smith; Great-Grandchildren, John Wesley, Graham, Zoey, Emmalee, Levi and Gracie; Sisters, Beverly (Mark) Hamm and Janice (W.A.) Johnson; Sister-In-Law, Rhonda Smith Collins.
He was preceded in death by his Father, Orville Smith; Mother, Kate Rasberry Smith; Brother, Ricky Smith.
Friends will be received Sunday, May 21, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Pates Chapel Baptist Church, 190 County Road 295, Jemison, Alabama 35085.
Services will be held Sunday, May 21, 2023, at 3:00 p.m. at Pates Chapel Baptist Church with Bro. Larry Davis officiating.
Interment will follow in Midway Memorial Gardens, Jemison, Alabama.
