He was born on Thursday, July 17, 1930 in Chilton Co., AL, Son of the late Corneilus Caton and the late Carrie Ellison Caton. He was a Truck Driver. Surviving are his Wife, Mavis Caton of Clanton, AL; Son, Roger (Diane) Caton of Clanton, AL; Daughters, Elaine (Joe) Connell of Verbena, AL, Virginia Garrick of Clanton, AL, Josephine Caton of Clanton, AL; 9 Grandchildren, Numerous Great & Great-Great-Grandchildren; Sisters, Jewell Headley of Clanton, AL, Faye (G.C.) Bolton of Clanton, AL. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Corneilus & Carrie Caton; Sister, Ollie Dean Caton. Friends will be received from 1-2 p.m., Friday, August 19, 2016 at Bell Lane Baptist Church. Services will be held Friday, August 19, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. at Bell Lane Baptist Church with Rev. Doug Powell officiating. Interment will follow in Bell Lane Bapt. Cem., Clanton, Alabama. Martin Funeral Home directing.
