Roy Douglas Sallis, 85, of Jemison, Alabama passed away May 23, 2026, in Birmingham, AL

He was born December 28, 1940, in Mississippi, son of the late Ambrose Sallis and the late Lena Sallis.

He was a Project Manager with the telephone company.

Surviving are his Daughter, Tina (Wayne) Champion, Daughter, Sherry (David) Wilson, Son, Brad Sallis, Son, Paul (Yvonne) Sallis, 12 Grandchildren and 15 Great Grandchildren, Sister, Patricia Wooten, Sister, Linda Almond, Sister, Sandra Farrar, Sister, Nona Champion.

He was preceded in death by his Father, Ambrose Sallis, Mother, Lena Sallis, Wife, Patty Sallis, Daughter-in-law, Jennifer Sallis.

Friends will be received Friday, May 29, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Pleasant Grove #1 Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held Friday, May 29, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. at Pleasant Grove #1 Baptist Church with Rev. Travis Burnett officiating.

Interment will follow in Pleasant Grove #1 Baptist Church cemetery.
