Royce E. DAVIS, 64, of Jemison died Monday, April 27, 2009 at his residence. He was born on Friday, October 6, 1944 in Chilton Co., AL, Son of the late Aldon Davis and the late Velma Mims Davis. He was a Realtor-Broker. Surviving are his Wife, Mrs. Penny Davis of Jemison, AL; Daughter, Mrs. Jenny (Clark) Thompson of Montevallo, AL; Grandson, Master Jordan Thompson of Montevallo, AL; 2 Sisters, Mrs. Lora (Jim) Haley of Jemison, AL, Mrs. Ruby Jean Ellison of Jemison, AL; A number of Nieces & Nephews. He was preceded in death by His Parents, Aldon & Velma Davis and Brother, Mr. Mac Davis. Friends will be received from 6-8, Tuesday, April 28, 2009 @ Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Wednesday, April 29, 2009, at 11:00 AM. at Burning Bush Church with Rev. Wade Adkins and Rev. Clark Thompson officiating. Interment will follow in Union Grove Community Cemetery, Jemison, AL. Martin Funeral Home directing.
