He was born on Thursday, April 8, 1948 in Chilton Co., AL, Son of the late Alvin Earl Vanderslice and the late Justeen Varden Vanderslice. He was a Truck Driver. Surviving are Sons, Charles (Darlene) Vanderslice of Jemison, AL, Robert (Stephanie) Vanderslice of Jemison, AL; Daughter, Connie (Tony) Cochran of Maplesville, AL; Sister, June (Andy) Bryant of Shelby, AL; Grandchildren, Dallas (Chris) Jones, Landon Cochran, Kailey Vanderslice, Mason Langston; Great-Grandchildren, Avery Jones, Tesslyn Smith; Numerous Nieces, Nephews, Family & Friends. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Alvin & Justeen Vanderslice and Wife, Sue Vanderslice. Friends will be received from 5-8, Monday, August 27, 2018 @ Mars Hill Baptist Church. Services will be held Tuesday, August 28, 2018, at 1:00 P.M. at Mars Hill Baptist Church with Rev. William Short officiating. Interment will follow in Union Grove Community Cemetery, Jemison, AL.
