Ruben Ray Smitherman, 75, of Clanton, Alabama passed away March 2, 2025, at Baptist South in Montgomery, AL.
He was born November 19, 1949, in Alabama, son of the late Ruben Smitherman and the late Willie Smitherman Wright.
He was a Construction Worker, Baptist Minister, and Commercial Fisherman.
Surviving are his Son, Jeff (Christine) Brown; Brothers, Wendall Smitherman, Ronald Lynn (Carol) Smitherman, Danny Thomas; Sisters, Delilah (Eddie) Smitherman, Tina (Dewayne) Lewis, Sweet (Kevin) Davis, Cathy Cartwright.
He was preceded in death by his Father, Ruben Smitherman; Mother, Willie Mae Smitherman Wright; Brothers, Van Thomas, Willie Smitherman.
Interment will follow in Mt. Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, Clanton, Alabama.
