Ruby Jean Ellison

Ruby Jean Ellison, 92, of Jemison, Alabama passed away June 5, 2024.

She was born November 2, 1931, in Alabama, daughter of the late Alton Davis and of the late Velma Davis.

She was a Presser in the automobile industry.

Surviving are her Sons, James "Littleman" Ellison, Barry Ellison; Grandsons, Kevin (Allison) Ellison, Keith (Amanda) Ellison, Bo (Keren) Ellison; Great-Grandsons, Carter Ellison, Bentlee Ellison; Brother, Dale Davis; A host of other family; Great-Granddaughter, April Norris.

She was preceded in death by her Mother, Velma Mims Davis; Father, Alton Davis; Husband, James "Red" Ellison; Brother, Mac Davis, Royce Earl Davis; Sister, Laura Haley.

Friends will be received Friday, June 7, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Union Grove Baptist Church.

Services will be held Friday, June 7, 2024, at 12:00 p.m. at Union Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Gothard officiating.

Interment will follow in Union Grove Community Cemetery, Jemison, Alabama.
