Ruby Hathcock Jones

Ruby Nell Hathcock Jones, 89, of Billingsley, Alabama passed away peacefully on May 10, 2025.

She was born January 5, 1936, in Chilton County, Alabama, daughter of  the late James Moses Hathcock and Nellie Lillian Williams Hathcock.

She was a Christian loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a lifelong member of Bethsalem Baptist Church.

Surviving are her Sons, Donnie (Sharon) Jones, Gary R. (Tammy) Jones; Granddaughters, Rebecca (Micah) Levi, Izzy Jones; Grandsons, Daniel (Josie) Jones, Austin (Mary Grace) Jones, and Great -Grandson, Obadiah Levi; Sister-in-Law, Carolyn H. Kelley and Numerous Nieces and Nephews, whom she loved dearly.

She was preceded in death by her Husband, John D. "JD" Jones, Jr.; Father, James Moses Hathcock; Mother, Nellie Lillian Williams Hathcock; Two infant sisters, and Sister, Lucy Hathcock; Brothers, Barney (Betty) Hathcock, Nolan (Thelma "Tiny") Hathcock, Brady Hathcock, Lester "Bill" Hathcock, and Charles Hathcock.

Pallbearers: Jerry Cobern, Will Dismukes, Clay Hannah, Gary Jones, Frankie Smith and Leslie Williams.

Services will be held Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Bethsalem Baptist Church with  Rev. Jeremy Jones, officiating.

Interment will follow in Bethsalem Baptist Cemetery, Billingsley, Alabama.
