Ruby Jewel Neeley, 80, of Jemison died Monday, August 19, 2019 at Hatley Health Care, Clanton. She was born on Sunday, January 29, 1939 in Chilton Co., AL, Daughter of the late James C. Smith and the late Tiny Lee Varden Smith. She was a Store Owner and a member of the board of the Central Alabama Electric Co-op. Surviving are Daughter, Gwen Neeley (Garry) Vines; Grandson, Heath (Cole) Vines; Granddaughter, Heather (David) Staggs; Great-Grandchildren, Gracie, Jacob & Will Vines, Mary Ella Lucas, Tyler & Bailee Staggs; Brother, Billy (Gail) Smith. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Eugene "Peanut" Neeley and Parents, James & Tiny Lee Smith. Friends will be received from 5-7, Wednesday, August 21, 2019 @ Martin Funeral Home. Services will be held Thursday, August 22, 2019, at 11:00 A.M. at Martin Chapel with Rev. Billy Boatwright officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Jemison, AL.
