She was born on Saturday, August 16, 1922 in Chilton Co., AL, Daughter of the late Ben Higgins and the late Minnie Maddox Higgins. She was an Art Teacher. Surviving are her 2 Daughters, June Wyatt of Clanton, AL, Pat Wesson of Clanton, AL; Son, Wayne Penton of Pensacola, FL; Sister, Imogene Turner of Clanton, AL; 7 Grandchildren, 11 Great-Grandchildren, A Host of Nieces & Nephews. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Alfred Penton. Friends will be received from 10-11, Saturday, June 18, 2011 @ Martin Funeral Home Chapel.
