She was born on Tuesday, October 9, 1928 in Chilton Co., AL, Daughter of the late Barney Burdette and the late Maggie Jones Burdette. She was a Homemaker. Surviving are her Daughter, Patricia A. Jones; Son, Larry (Sheila) Jones, Jr.; Grandchildren, Wendy (Jeremy) Pierce, Kim (Jonathan) Bowen, Nick Jones; Great-Grandchildren, Macey and Michael Pierce, Kaiden Bowen; Brother, Bueil "Cotton" (Minnie Mae) Burdette. She was preceded in death by her Parents, Barney and Maggie Burdette, Husband, L.E. "Gene" Jones, Sr., Sister, Mary Jones, Sister, Flora Harris and Brother, Duel "Red" Burdette. Friends will be received from 6-8, Monday, August 6, 2012 @ Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Tuesday, August 7, 2012, at 11:00 A.M. at Corintth Baptist Church with Rev.
