Ruby Irene WEGENER, 102, of Clanton died Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at Chilton Medical Center, Clanton. She was born on Saturday, February 15, 1908 in Dekalb Co., AL, Daughter of the late Rubin Davis and the late Elizabeth Swan Davis. She was a Sales Clerk. Surviving are her 2 Sons, Lellwyn B. Lackey of Clanton, AL, Derwyn A. Lackey of Winston Salem, NC; Daughter, Ruby Joyce Bunn of Brooksville, FL; 13 Grandchildren, 28 Great Grandchildren, 18 Great-Great Grandchildren, 6 Great-Great-Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Daughter, Frances Ambrose and Daughter, Jane Rogers. Friends will be received from 12-1, Thursday, April 8, 2010 @ Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Thursday, April 8, 2010, at 1:00 P.M.. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Doug Powell and Rev. Robert Sandifer officiating. Interment will follow in Martin Memorial Cemetery, Clanton, Alabama. Martin Funeral Home directing.
