Ruel Greathouse Sorrell, 83, of Jemison died Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center, Alabaster. He was born on Saturday, June 14, 1930 in Birmingham, AL, Son of the late Verbie Sorrell and the late Mattie Greathouse. He was an Equipment Repairman. Surviving are his wife, Billie Ann Sorrell and Daughter, Roxanne Grauel. He was preceded in death by his parents. Memorial service will be held Sunday, January 12, 2014, at 1:00 p.m. at Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses, Clanton. Martin Funeral Home directing.
