Ruth Kate Minor, 69, of Clanton died Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at Vaughn Regional Medical Center, Selma. She was born on Monday, January 19, 1942 in Chilton Co., AL, Daughter of the late James Dewey Minor and the late Mildred Easterling Minor. Surviving are her Aunt, Willodean Johnson of Clanton, AL; Faithful Friend, Margie Martin of Clanton, AL. She was preceded in death by her Mother, Mildred Easterling Gore; Step-Father, Kermit Gore; Brother, Johnny Green Gore; Brother, Edwin Minor; Father, Dewey J. Minor. Friends will be received from 10-11, Friday, September 2, 2011 @ Collins Chapel Baptist Church. Services will be held Friday, September 2, 2011, at 11:00 A.M. at Collins Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. Thomas Hilyer officiating. Interment will follow in Collins Chapel Cemetery, Thorsby, AL.
