Sadie Maddox, 101, of Clanton, Alabama passed away March 2, 2023, at Hatley Health Care in Clanton, Alabama.

She was born October 25, 1921, in Alabama, daughter of the late Authur Mims and the late Pharoah Powell Mims.

She was a Farmer.

Surviving are her Sons, David (Betty) Maddox and Reed (Loretta) Maddox; Daughters, Mary Esther Minor and Judy Lane Adams; Grandchildren, Denise Wright, Tammy Kelley, Cindy Boswell, Bobby Joe "BJ" Adams, Jr., Roxanna Barksdale, Ricky Minor, Keith Minor, Angela Barrett, Jennifer Martin, Wendy Maddox, Chad Maddox, Blake Maddox and Clay Maddox, Thirty Great Grandchildren; Twenty-two Great-Great Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her Husband, Ulmer Lee Maddox; Father, Authur Mims; Mother, Pharoah Powell Mims; Grandsons, Joey Adams and John Adams; and Seven Siblings.

Friends will be received Sunday, March 5, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Refuge Baptist Church.

Services will be held Monday, March 6, 2023, at 3:00 p.m. at Refuge Baptist Church with Rev. Doug West, Rev. Barney Mims and Rev. Tim Scott officiating.

Interment will follow in Refuge Baptist Cemetery, Clanton, Alabama.
