Sally Ann Kornegay

Sally Ann Kornegay, 82, of Clanton, Alabama passed away December 14, 2020 at Bibb County Nursing Home, Centreville, AL. She was born June 6, 1938 in Shelby County, Alabama, daughter of Johnny Payne and Fannie Smitherman Payne. She was a teacher aide. Surviving are her Son, Barry (Paula) Kornegay; Granddaughter, Elizabeth "Liv" (Brian) Meany; Grandson, Patrick (Erin) Kornegay; Great-Grandchildren, Brinley, Evelyn, Nora, Harper, August, Levi. She was preceded in death by her Husband, George H. Kornegay; Father, Johnny D. Payne; Mother, Fannie Smitherman Payne. Friends will be received Friday, December 18, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home. Services will be held Friday, December 18, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home with Rev. Barry Kornegay and Bro. Matt DeBord officiating.
