He was born on Tuesday, September 24, 1946 in Birmingham, AL, Son of the late Samuel Thomas Bentley, Sr. and Bess Nix Bentley. He was a Farmer. Surviving are his Son, Clay (Julie) Bentley of Thorsby, AL; Grandchildren, Brooks Bentley, Anna Bell Bentley, Abby Ross Bentley; Mother, Bess Bentley of Thorsby, AL; Sister, Becky Gallups of Gulf Shores, AL; Nephews, Stacy (Kelly) Finley, Shane (Tina) Finley; Niece, Susan (J.R.) Anderson; A host of other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his Wife, Brenda Carol Bentley; Father, Sam Bentley; Sister, Susan Bentley. Friends will be received from 5-7, Thursday, January 15, 2015 at Martin Funeral Home. Services will be held Friday, January 16, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. at Thorsby First Baptist Church with Rev.
