He was born on Thursday, June 24, 1920 in Chilton Co., AL, Son of the late Lonzo Headley and the late Lula Henley Headley. He was a Peach Farmer. Surviving are his Wife, Gladys Headley of Verbena, AL; 2 Daughters, Earlene (Gleemon) Ray of Thorsby, AL, Pauline (Jerry) Jones of Alto, GA; 2 Sons, Eugene Headley of Cooper, AL, Paul (Nita) Headley of Clanton, AL; 16 Grandchildren, 34 Great-Grandchildren, 3 Great-Great Grandchildren; 3 Sisters, Frances Pounders of Hamilton, AL, Lois Hamilton of Clanton, AL, Eunice (Reed) Mims of Clanton, AL; 2 Brothers, Robert (Ola Mae) Headley of Prattville, AL, Alvin (Adeline) Headley of Montgomery, AL. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Lonzo & Lula Headley, Brothers, Clarence, Ernest & Renfroe Headley and Grandson, Ricky Knight. Friends will be received from 6-8, Thursday, June 14, 2012 @ Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Friday, June 15, 2012, at 2:00 P.M. at Chestnut Creek Bapt.
