Sandra Faye Hilyer, 81, of Jemison, Alabama passed away August 10, 2021 at Columbiana Health & Rehab in Columbiana, Alabama. She was born March 23, 1940 in Chilton County, Alabama, daughter of the late Russell Peterson and the late Jewell Peterson. She was a Retired Teacher. Surviving are her Daughter, Robin C. (William Price) Hilyer, Son, Brent (Jada) Hilyer, Grandchildren, Perry (Katie) Hilyer, Russell (Bethany) Hilyer, Erica Hilyer, Brad (Laura) Hilyer, Elizabeth (Don) Edwards and Joshua Hilyer, Several Great-Grandchildren and Great Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Son, Mark Hilyer, Husband, Douglas G. Hilyer, Father, Russell Peterson and Mother, Jewell Peterson. Friends will be received Friday, August 13, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel, 1300 4th Avenue North, Clanton, Alabama 35045. Services will be held Friday, August 13, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel, 1300 4th Avenue North, Clanton, Alabama 35045. Interment will follow in Midway Memorial Gardens in Jemison, Alabama.
