Sara Dean Mims, 91, of Clanton, Alabama passed away August 9, 2026, at Grandview Medical Center.
She was born September 20, 1934, in Chilton County, Alabama, daughter of the late Lester Mims and the late Corene Mims.
She was a Homemaker.
Surviving are her Daughters, Phyllis M. (Charles) Steneck, Ann (David) Graves; Son, Samuel (Marinda) Mims; Granddaughter, Lindsey (Jamey) Ackley, Michelle (Michelle) Steneck-Merineau; Grandsons, Thad (Sarah) Samples, Heath (Haley) Mims, Thomas (Emily) Mims; 7 Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her Father, Lester Mims; Mother, Corene Mims; Brothers, Ross Mims, Thomas Mims.
Friends will be received Friday, August 14, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Temple Assembly of God.
Funeral services will be held Friday, August 14, 2026, at 12:00 pm. at Temple Assembly of God with Rev. Eric Helfinstine officiating.
Interment will follow in Temple Assembly of God Cemetery, Clanton, Alabama.
