Sara Ann Winter, 54, of Jemison died Thursday, July 26, 2012 at Homeland Assisted Living, Jemison. She was born on Wednesday, December 4, 1957 in Jefferson Co., Alabama, Daughter of the late James Winter and the late Hazel Willis Winter. Surviving are 2 Sisters, Sherry (Joel) Gilmore of Jemison, AL, Carol (Dare) Lowrey of Jemison, Alabama; Nephew, Cody Lowrey of Daphne, AL; Niece, Morgan Gilmore of Jemison, AL; Aunt, Glenda (Jimmy) Wade of McCalla, AL; Cousins, Billy & Sherry Kellum of Birmingham, AL, Wesley & Brenda Wade of McCalla, AL, Mitch & Melanie Davis of Gulf Shores, AL; and a host of other friends and family, especially the extended family she had at Homeland Assisted Living, who loved her dearly and treated her as their own. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Hazel Winter. Friends will be received from 10-11 am, Saturday, July 28, 2012 at Macedonia Baptist Church. Services will be held Saturday, July 28, 2012, at 11:00 am. at Macedonia Baptist Church in Maplesville, AL with Rev. Rex Kent and Rev. David Bishop officiating. Interment will follow in Macedonia Baptist Cemetery, Maplesville, AL .
