Sarah Virginia Thompson

Sarah Virginia Thompson, 85, of Bessemer died Friday, March 15, 2019 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center, Alabaster. She was born on Wednesday, September 6, 1933 in Chilton Co., AL, Daughter of the late Erbie Littleton and the late Flossie Gore Littleton. She was a long-time member of Collins Chapel Baptist Church and worked for the State of Alabama from 1988-1998. Sarah was married for 25 years to Hubert Thompson. Surviving are Niece, Carolyn Wilson Hayes of Helena, AL; Sister, Mary Helen Littleton Blackwell of Bloomington, IL; Great-Niece/Caregiver, Nan Wilson Scarbrough of Helena, AL; Numerous Nieces & Nephews. She was preceded in death by her Parents, Erbie & Flossie Littleton; Brother, Willie K. Littleton; Sister, Eloise Littleton Crowson. A graveside service will be held Saturday, March 16, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. at Collins Chapel Cemetery, Thorsby, AL with Rev. Don Graham officiating. No flowers.
