Sarah Nell Wilkins

Sarah Nell Wilkins, 93, passed away on December 25, 2020 at Hatley Health Care. She was born February 3, 1927, in Collins Chapel to her parents Dalton and Bessie Martin. She was preceded in death by her husband William Wilkins, her parents Dalton and Bessie Martin, sister Dene Elmore and brother Don Martin. She is survived by her daughter Gail (Gary) Mims of Allen, Tx , Son Roger (Cheryl) Marcus of Clanton, Al, Grandson Greg (Pam) Mims of Frisco Tx, Granddaughter Ginny (Scott) Garland of Allen, Tx, Granddaughter Rachel (Ab) Argent of Clanton, Al. Great grandchildren Melanie and Lindsey Mims of Frisco, Tx, Grace and Will Garland of Allen, Tx , Adi , Sarah Beth and Ellie Grace Argent of Clanton, Al, along with several nieces and nephews. She loved her family and will be missed greatly by them. Nell was a cashier at Dixie Super Store for the first 10 years it was open, loving her customers and her coworkers. She also worked at Harco Drugs in Clanton. Nell and William were longtime members of Bethsalem Baptist Church in Enterprise Community where they lived prior to his death. The family would like to say a special thanks to the staff at Hatley Health Care for the excellent care she received while a resident there. We would also like to say thanks to her special neighbors Ms Janice Patterson, Ms Earl and Donny Finlayson. What a blessing it was to have neighbors like them. We would also like say thank you to special friend Robert Burnett and his family for the kindness they have always shown. A private family burial will be held at Collins Chapel Cemetery.
