Shannon Lea Nelson

Shannon Lea Nelson, 48, of Verbena, Alabama passed away February 19, 2025, in Montgomery, AL.

She was born June 15, 1976, in  Montgomery, Co., Alabama, daughter of the late Ronnie Meeks and the late Myra Tillery.

She was the owner of Shan's Kitchen in Prattville, AL. She loved time with her family but especially with her grandchildren.

Surviving are her Husband, William Franklin Nelson; Sons, Jared "JoLynn" Nelson, Blake "Shelby" Nelson; Daughter, Kristin "Tyler Rigby" Nelson; Granddaughters, Jude Nelson, Jade Nelson; Brother, Britt Meeks; Sister, Sheila James; Sister-in-Law, Patricia "Aubrey" Latham; Step-Parents, Jim "Cindy" Tillery; Granny Joan; A host of Nieces, Nephews & Friends.

She was preceded in death by her Father, Ronnie Meeks; Mother, Myra Gail Tillery; Father-in-Law, Billy Jo Nelson; Mother-in-Law, Peggy Nelson; Grandmother, Patsy Headley; Uncle, Jack Meeks; Aunt, Leslie Sosa.

A Celebration of Life service will be Saturday, March 1, 2025, at The River of Life Church starting at 12:00 p.m..
