Sheila Ann Traywick Abernathy

Sheila Ann Traywick Abernathy, 71, of Clanton, Alabama passed away November 13, 2024, at Brookwood Medical Center in Birmingham, Alabama.

She was born August 1, 1953, in Alabama, daughter of the late Otis Traywick and the late Velma Traywick.

She was a Bank Teller.

Surviving are her Daughter, Shonna (Thomas) Loyd; Son, Chris (Shelly) Roper; Step-daughters, Wanda Abernathy, Angela Kinard; Grandchildren, Gage Glenn, Madilyn Loyd, Thomas Shane Loyd, Isabella Roper, Chase Roper, Sydney Seager Morris; Brother, Charles A. Traywick.

She was preceded in death by her Husband, Luther E. Abernathy; Father, Otis A. Traywick; Mother, Velma C. Traywick.

Friends will be received Monday, November 18, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at West End Baptist Church.

Services will be held Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at West End Baptist Church with Rev. Eddie Lightsey and Rev. James Watkins officiating.

Interment will follow in Alabama National Cemetery, Montevallo, Alabama.
