Surviving are her 2 Sons, Mark Payton of Clanton, AL, Shannon Payton of Jemison, AL; 6 grandchildren; Parents, Harold & Dot Thomas of Clanton, AL; Brother, Michael David Thomas of Clanton, AL; Sister, Barbara Sue Jones of Bessemer, AL. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Chester Payton; Sister, Mona Melinda Thomas and Grandson, Korey Dale Payton. Friends will be received from 10-1, Friday, December 26, 2008 @ Martin Funeral Home. Services will be held Friday, December 26, 2008, at 1:00PM. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Don Vanderslice and Rev. Simon Bussie officiating. Interment will follow in Martin Memorial Cemetery, Clanton, Alabama. Martin Funeral Home directing.
