Shelby Alyssa Lawley-Wells, 28, of Verbena, Alabama passed away August 13, 2026, at her residence.

She was born February 19, 1998, in Alabama, daughter of Terry Ray Lawley, Jr. and Regan Nicole Hart.

Shelby was a well-loved waitress at Shoney's and an avid lover of all music, especially country. More than anything, Shelby adored her babies and loved being a mother.

Surviving are her Husband, Rickey "Chance" Wells; Father, Terry Ray Lawley, Jr.; Mother, Regan Nicole Hart; Children, Colton Wells, Wylum Wells, Sophie Jean Wells, Giovonni Wells, Zayen Wells; Brothers, Brayden Lawley, Collin Lawley; Grandmother, Pat Brandenberg; Grandfather, Terry Ray Lawley, Sr.; Grandmother, Angelia Lawley; Mother-in-Law, Casey (Tim) Wylie; Father-in-Law, Ricky (Sandy) Wells; Brother-in-Law, Dykota (Jada) Wells, Sister-in-Law, Savannah Wells.

Friends will be received Monday, August 24, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel, Clanton, Alabama.

Services will be held Monday, August 24, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tony Reynolds officiating. To celebrate Shelby’s vibrant life, those attending the services are encouraged to wear bright colors.

Interment will follow in The Grove Cemetery, Clanton, Alabama.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Shelby’s funeral fund.
