Shirley Mae Burnett, 83, of Clanton, Alabama passed away July 23, 2024, at her residence

She was born January 4, 1941, in Brent, Alabama, daughter of the late Johnnie Brown and the late Beulah Brown.

She was a loving wife & mother, she loved the Lord and knew where she was going not even ashamed to say so. She had a heart of Gold, her children always came first. We Love You Mom!

Surviving are her Husband of 68 years, Billy Burnett; Sons, Tony Burnett, Johnny (Marie) Burnett, Chris (Misty) Burnett; Step Daughter, Vicki (Rusty) Johnston; Sister, Diane (Charles) Bean; 13 Grandchildren and 29 Great Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her Father, Johnnie Brown, Mother, Beulah Brown, Step Mother, Jeannie Brown, Daughter, Teresa Burnett, Grandson, Alan Burnett, Daughter-in-law, Cristal Burnett, Brother, Alton Brown, Sister, Mary Evelyn Brown, Half Sister, Mary Helen.

Friends will be received Saturday, July 27, 2024, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at Jackson Chapel Church.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, July 27, 2024, at 1:00 pm. at Jackson Chapel Church with Rev. Dennis Smith and Travis Burnett officiating.

Interment will follow in Jackson Chapel Cemetery, Clanton, Alabama.

Pallbearers will be Travis Burnett, Tony Burnett, Jr. Josh Burnett, Joey Burnett, Nathan Burnett, and Chaz Johnston.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Todd Manning, Trenton Bedwell, Josh Caudle and Matthew Bryant.
