She was born June 15, 1937 in Chilton County, Alabama, daughter of the late Clarance Staggs and the late Victoria Staggs. She was a cashier for Walmart. Surviving are her Children, Pete (Debbie) Davenport, Janice (James) Cleckler, Joyce Hilyer, John Davenport, Jeff (Mandy) Davenport; 17 Grandchildren; 37 Great-Grandchildren & 7 Great-Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Husbands, Henry Davenport & Frank McCartney; Daughter, Judy Gore; Son, Jack Davenport; Grandsons, DJ Hilyer & Todd Hilyer; Brothers, Willie, James & Frank Staggs; Sisters, Adele Nichols & Edna Davenport; Daughter-in-Law, Debbie Ann Davenport; Son-in-Law, Danny Hilyer. Friends will be received Tuesday, June 15, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Tuesday, June 15, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Doug Powell officiating. Interment will follow in Martin Memorial Cemetery, Clanton, Alabama.
