Shirley Ozelle Mims, 83, of Clanton, Alabama passed away April 28, 2026, at her residence.

She was born September 11, 1942, in Alabama, daughter of the late Oscar Deavers and of the late Verlon Deavers.

She was a Homemaker.

Surviving are her Son, Travis (Kristi) Mims; Granddaughter, Kinslee (Colton) Fells; Grandson, Kelan (Sophie) Mims; Great-Grandson, Malakai Fells; Great-Granddaughters, Josie Mims, Lizzie Mims; Sister, Joan Parrish; Brothers, Dewey Deavers, Jeff Deavers.

She was preceded in death by her Husband, Bennie Joel Mims; Father, Oscar Lee Deavers; Mother, Verlon Deavers; Daughter, Tracy Lee Mims; numerous brother's and sister's.

Friends will be received Thursday, April 30, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Shiloh Baptist Church.

Graveside Services will be held Thursday, April 30, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Shiloh Baptist Cemetery with Rev. Derek Deavers officiating.

Interment will follow in Shiloh Baptist Cemetery, Clanton, Alabama.
