Stephen Allen Steve Jones

Stephen "Steve" Allen Jones, 69, of Clanton died Thursday, November 8, 2018. He was born on Tuesday, June 21, 1949 in Alabama, Son of the late Clarence Jones and the late Bessie Porter Jones. A very loving husband, dad, bonus dad, pop pop, brother, uncle & friend. He serviced his country from Vietnam til 1989. He was a recruiter for the Alabama National Guard for 10 years. Through illnesses he never lost his sense of humor or love for his family. The family was blessed with new friends from Comfort Care Hospice. Surviving are Wife of 31 years, Brenda Jones; Son, Scotty Jones; Bonus Daughters, Virginia Cook Steward, Robin Cook Crawford; 4 Grandchildren, 4 Great-Grandchildren, A Number of Nieces & Nephews; Sisters, "Squirt" Essie Easterling, Barbara Schultz; Sister-in-Law, Joyce Jones; A Very Special Niece/Sister, Debbie Mims. He was preceded in death by his Father, Clarence N. Jones, Mother, Bessie Porter Jones, Brother, Marvin Jones.
