Sylvan O'Neal Easterling

Mr. Sylvan O'neal EASTERLING, 81, of Clanton died Tuesday, March 24, 2009 at his residence. He was born on Thursday, August 4, 1927 in Chilton Co., Alabama, Son of the late Tommy B. Easterling and the late Sara Ethel McDowell Easterling. He was a carpenter and a member of Bell Lane Baptist Church. He also worked with the Chilton Baptist Builders Surviving are his Wife, Mrs. Odell Easterling of Clanton, AL; 3 Sons, Mr. Edward (Diann) Easterling of Verbena, AL, Mr. Howell (Connie) Easterling of Mobile, AL, Mr. Ray (Linda) Easterling of Alabaster, AL; Step-son, Mr. Jimmy (Dorothy) Jones of Clanton, AL; Step-daughter, Mrs. Debbie (Butch) Kimble of Helena, AL; Close Friend, Mr. Bobby Cook of Clanton, AL; 12 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren. Friends will be received from 5-8, Wednesday, March 25, 2009 @ Martin Funeral Home. Services will be held Thursday, March 26, 2009, at 11:00AM. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Doug Powell and Rev. Charles Brooks officiating. Interment will follow in Poplar Springs Baptist Cemetery, Clanton, AL.
