Tommy "T.J." James Jones, 24, of Jemison died Friday, May 23, 2014 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center, Alabaster. He was born on Thursday, June 15, 1989 in Jefferson Co., AL, Son of Tommy W. Jones and Pam Posey Pittman. He was a Copy Technician and Youth Pastor. Surviving are Mother, Pam (Robbie) Pittman; Father, Tommy (JoAnn) Jones; Sisters, Aimee Jones, Kristin Henrichson, Kayla Henrichson; Fiance', Jennifer Davis; Nephew, Joseph Mercer; Maw Maw, Mittice Posey; Nana, Linda Pittman; Grandad, Ron Paugels. He was preceded in death by his Sister, Melanie Grace Jones, Sister, Heather Poppe, Grandparents, James A. Posey, Fred Pittman,Thomas & Annie Mae Jones, Edith Paugels. Friends will be received from 5-8, Saturday, May 24, 2014 @ Mars Hill Baptist Church. Services will be held Sunday, May 25, 2014, at 2:00 P.M. at Mars Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Scott Dawson and Rev. William Earl Short officiating. Interment will follow in Mars Hill Baptist Cemetery, Jemison, Alabama.
