Tammy Regina Porter, 61, of Jemison Alabama passed away at her home on February 24, 2023.

She was born February 4, 1962 in Birmingham Alabama to the late Herbert & Carolyn James.

She is preceded in death by her Mother & Father, Herbert & Carolyn James; Daughter, Margie Haney; Husband, Lyn Porter; & two brothers Robert & Jimmy Dean James.

She is survived by her Fiancé Stephen James; Daughters, Tabitha (Gary) Wood, & Jodie (Jamey) Neeley; Sons, Michael Haney & Preston Porter; Step-sons, Bryan James & John James; Brothers, Gary Paul (Judy) James & Billy Ray (Leslie) James; Grandchildren, Jessica (Josh), Danielle (Ryan), Cameron (Taylor), Austin, Sabrina (Kadarius), Heather, Samantha, Jacob, James, KJ, Trace(Nikki), Hali, Lia, & MaKalie.

As well as 21 Great-Grandchildren and a host of godchildren who knew her as “Momma Tammy”, nieces, nephews, cousins & friends.

She was a Mother, a Mawmaw, a role model, & was always just a phone call away to whoever needed her. She enjoyed beach trips with her family, traveling with her fiancé and gardening in her spare time.

Friends will be received Wednesday, March 1, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Services will be held Wednesday, March 1, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Kim Booth officiating.

Interment will follow in Midway Memorial Gardens, Jemison, Alabama.
