Terry Clay Sims

Terry Clay Sims, 69, of Clanton, Alabama passed away April 28, 2024, at Grandview Medical Center in Birmingham, Alabama.

He was born January 13, 1955, in Clanton, Alabama, son of Clyde Sims and the late Jettielene Sims.

He was a retired accountant for the State of Alabama Examiners of Public Accounts. After his retirement, he worked part time with the County Commission.

Surviving is his Father, Clyde Sims; Wife, Cindy Sims; Daughter, Tracy Brown; Granddaughters, Emma Brown and Katie Brown.

He is preceded in death by his Mother, Jettielene Sims; Brother, Larry Sims; Son-in-law, Jason Brown.

Friends will be received Friday, May 3, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Services will be held Saturday, May 4, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Donnie Burns officiating.

Interment will follow in Highland Baptist Cemetery, Clanton, Alabama.
