She was born on Monday, February 19, 1917 in Jefferson Co., AL, Daughter of the late George Alexander Clifton and the late Alice Cornelia Johnson Clifton. She was a Homemaker. She was an active member of Ensley 1st United Methodist Church until she & Bill moved to Clanton in 1982. Lois was a member of Bell Lane Baptist Church in Clanton. Surviving are her Son, James William Cooper, Jr. of Montgomery, AL; Daughter, Carolyn C. Collins of Adamsville, AL; 3 Grandchildren, Dana Lee Collins of Clanton, AL, Harry Vincent (Donna) Collins of Adamsville, AL, Scott Westley Collins of Adamsville, AL; 3 Great-Grandchildren, Eric Ray Myers, Taylor Victory Collins, Harrison Scott Collins; 3 Great-Great Grandchild, Taylon Ray Myers, Silanna Nicole Myers, Bowen Campbell Myers. She was preceded in death by her Husband, James "Bill" Cooper; Parents, George Alexander & Alice Corneila Clifton; Brothers, Cody Roland, George Alexander, Joseph Aubrey, James Arthur, and Jack Etheridge Clifton; Sisters, Willie Rose & Hazel Inez Clifton. Friends will be received from 10-11, Friday, September 2, 2011 @ Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Friday, September 2, 2011, at 11:00 A.M. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev.
