Theresa Ann Taylor, 83, of Jemison, Alabama passed away September 2, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born September 25, 1942, in Chilton Co., Alabama, daughter of the late Cecil Ellison and the late Sophia Ellison.

Ann was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great, great-grandmother, sister and friend. She was a fighter and courageously fought the fight. She was a hard worker and never met a challenge she couldn't conquer. From a very young age, she enjoyed numerous trips to the Smokey Mountains, which her mother called, "God's Country".

Surviving are her Daughter, Cecilia (Joey) Lovette; Daughter, Lisa Jackson; Son, Lawrence (Amy) Mims; Daughter, Anna (Tim) Adams; Sister, Michelle (James) Ward; Sister-in-Law, Lila Ellison; Nine Grandchildren; Numerous Great-Grandchildren; Numerous Great,Great-Grandchildren; A host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her Parents, Cecil Clyde & Sophia Mae Ellison; Brother, Stevie Ellison; Sister, Pamela Ellison; Brother, Luman Ellison; Brother, Royce Ellison.

Friends will be received Sunday, September 6, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Services will be held Sunday, September 6, 2026, at 2:00 pm. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. B.J. Ward officiating.

Interment will follow in Midway Memorial Gardens, Jemison, Alabama.
