He was born on Saturday, May 9, 1936 in Chilton Co., Alabama, Son of the late Robert Clint Connell and the late Canzada Cleckler Connell. He was an Equipment Operator. Surviving are his Wife, Mary Edna Varden Connell of Jemison, AL; 4 Daughters, Doris Moore of Clanton, AL, Rose Moore of Verbena, AL, Katie Bruce of Mobile, AL, Peggy Castleberry of Clanton, AL; Son, Thomas Allan Connell of Clanton, AL; Sister, Rosa May Cleckler of Thorsby, AL; 12 grandchildren, 9 great-grandcildren. Friends will be received from 10-11am, Friday, March 27, 2009 @ Martin Funeral Home. Services will be held Friday, March 27, 2009, at 11:00AM. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mitchell Connell officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Springs Cemetery. Martin Funeral Home directing.
