Thomas Jarome Ellison, 84, of Birmingham, Alabama passed away March 30, 2021 at his residence. He was born January 22, 1937, in Shelby County, AL, son of Clyde Ellison and Jannie Mae Ellison. He was a construction company owner. Surviving are his Wife, Peggy Ann Ellison; Son, Timothy Steve (Nannette) Ellison; Daughters, Cindy Denise (James) Ellison Hill Bergert, Gwendolen Octavia (Kenny) Ellison Ward; Granddaughters, Tiffany Anne Hill, Lindsey Marie Ward, Madeline Elise Ward; Grandson, Devin Michael Hill, Step Grandchildren, Lauren Bergert Mitchell, Lindsey Bergert, Alex Bergert; Sisters, Sandra Jo Thomas, Jenny Ellison, Joan (Calvin) Hayes; Brother, Dennis Ellison. He was preceded in death by his Father, Clyde Ellison; Mother, Jannie Mae Ellison; Brothers, Whalon Ellison, Wayne Ellison. Friends will be received Thursday, April 1, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home. Services will be held Friday, April 2, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Mitch Thrower officiating. Interment will follow in Midway Memorial Gardens, Jemison, Alabama.
