Thomas Bailey Gay

Thomas Bailey Gay, 67, of McCalla died Monday, July 15, 2019 at Plantation Manor Assisted Living, McCalla. He was born on Thursday, November 8, 1951 in Jefferson Co., AL, Son of the late Thomas Hillard Gay and the late Dorris Houston Gay. He was a native of Fairfield, AL and a graduate of Fairfield High School, where he was a member of the Tiger Band. Thomas was an employee of Bellsouth Telecommunications and a member of the Communication Workers of America for more than 30 years. He was an active Mason and a past master of the Fairfield Masonic Lodge. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Starnes Gay; Parents, Thomas Hillard & Dorris Houston Gay. Services will be held Wednesday, July 17, 2019, at 10:00 AM at Martin Chapel. Interment will follow in Ebenezer Baptist Cemetery, Stanton, AL. Martin Funeral Home directing.
