Thomas Allen Roper

Thomas Allen Roper, 79, of Clanton, Alabama passed away August 29, 2024, in Clanton, Alabama.

He was born March 1, 1945, in Chilton County, Alabama, son of the late R. Q. Roper and the late Dean Roper.

He was in the construction industry for many years primarily installing sheet rock.

Surviving are his Daughter, Karen (Richard) Wilson; Grandsons, Jody Wilson, Ethan Roper; Granddaughters, Nicole (Tanner) Duncan, Brittany Wilson, Heather Roper, Lacey (Russell) Burt; 13 Great-Grandchildren; Brothers, James Roper and Joe Earl (Sara) Roper; Sisters, Margaret Baker and Ellen (Phillip) Campbell; A host of other family.

He was preceded in death by his Wife, Judy Roper; Sons, Russell Roper, Brad Roper; Parents, R. Q. & Dean Roper; Brother, Aaron Roper.

Friends will be received Tuesday, September 3, 2024, from 12:30 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Services will be held Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. William Short officiating.

The family requests no flowers, but to make donations to the family fund at Martin Funeral Home.

Interment will follow in Mt. Nebo United Methodist Cemetery, Clanton, Alabama.
