Thomas Alton Sims

Thomas Alton Sims, 82, of Clanton, Alabama passed away February 8, 2024.

He was born August 28, 1941, in Alabama, son of the late Raymond Sims and Floree Williams.

Thomas graduated from Verbena High School in 1959. He has done many things in his lifetime including, served in the Air Force, he was a fireman and a material handler in the automotive industry. Thomas was also known as  "Blue Eyes".

Surviving are his Mother, Floree Shan Williams; Daughters, Felicia Edwards, Glenda Rhodes; Grandchildren, Ashley (Kevin) Calfee, Kayla McGee, Ryan (Hannah) Rhodes, Russ Rhodes; Great - Grandchildren, Madison Calfee, Charleigh Calfee.

He was preceded in death by his Grandparents, John (Clara) Hudman; Father, Raymond Sims.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, February 10, 2024, at Floyd Baptist Church in Verbena, AL. The service will start at 4:00 p.m..
