She was born on Friday, April 1, 1938 in Chilton Co., Alabama, Daughter of the late Earl Guy Smitherman and the late Nell Cox Smitherman. She was a Retired School Bus Driver. Surviving are her Husband, Paul E. Johnson of Clanton, AL; Son, Greg (Laurie) Marcus of Thorsby, AL; Daughter, Tam Patrick of Birmingham, AL; Granddaughter, Kylee Patrick of Birmingham, AL; 2 Sisters, Melba (Richard) Malboeuf of Alabaster, AL, Edna Litton of Mobile, AL; 2 Sister-in-laws, Lois Ferguson of Clanton, AL, Mary Davis of Clanton, AL; Many Nieces, Nephews & Friends. Friends will be received from 5-8, Saturday, October 16, 2010 at Martin Chapel. Services will be held Sunday, October 17, 2010, at 2:00 pm. at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church with Rev. Bill Billingsley and Rev. Jack Drinkwater officiating. Interment will follow in Montevallo City Cemetery, Montevallo, AL.
