Tina J Crawford

Tina Joiner Crawford, 63, of White City, Alabama, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 17, 2026 at her home. Funeral services will be held at White Pond Baptist Church on Saturday, August 29, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. with James Lyon officiating, assisted by Bro. Lamar Lyon. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at White City Cemetery with Martin Funeral Home directing.

Tina Crawford was born June 7, 1963. Tina was preceded in death by her parents, James Denson Joiner and Mary Alice Payton Joiner. She is survived by her loving husband of 27 years, Loren Lee Crawford; her daughter, Charly Norman Carter and husband John of Florence, Alabama; four grandchildren, Samuel Troup Carter, Emma James Carter, Elizabeth Weatherford Carter, and Evelyn Fuller Carter of Florence, Alabama; her sister, Eloise Chandler of Hazel Green, Alabama; and her brother, Kevin Denson Joiner of Florence, Alabama.

Tina was a graduate of Billingsley High School and Troy University in Montgomery. She spent 39 years working as a Claim Associate for State Farm in San Diego, Montgomery, and Birmingham. Her coworkers became an important part of her life, and the relationships she made throughout nearly four decades were a reflection of the love and connection she brought to those around her.

Tina was a dedicated member of the White City Volunteer Fire Department for many years, dating back to its founding, where she served as secretary and, in her later years, as Logistics Officer. The fire department was truly a family affair, with generations of her family serving and participating alongside her.

Faith was also an important part of Tina’s story. She was a lifetime member of White Pond Baptist Church, where she was surrounded by generations of family, friends, and a church community that was a significant part of her life.

Tina was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Her love for her family was evident to everyone who knew her. She was a proud grandmother to her four grandchildren, who brought great joy to her life. Tina will be remembered for her strength and resilience, her love for her family, the friendships she treasured, and the many lives she touched throughout her 63 years.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to White Pond Baptist Church c/o The Choir Fund, 1155 County Road 49, Marbury, AL 36051. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dorothy Seals for the loving and compassionate care she provided to Tina after her last hospital stay; Daniel Jones, James Lyon, and Jae and Collier Hunt. Their kindness and friendship will always be remembered and deeply appreciated.

Pallbearers will be Adam Chandler, Matthew Chandler, Daniel Jones, Logan Strock, Lowell Strock, and Trace Strock.
